Welcome to issue 28, where we welcome in the first edition of 2010 with a new look; we've finally had time to integrate some of the changes you suggested, so the new design is cleaner, easier to read, and more compact.

Is there anyone else out there interested in Turkish Lessons for beginners? I have tried all tutors in Bulletin but all their classes are full but can offer private lessons or start new class if there was enough people interested. The private lessons are quite expensive so to share would make it a bit easier on the pocket.

If you've tried the UHT milk in cartons, and you've tried the 1 litre plastic bottles (the ones that look like Ayran), then try this; fresh pasteurised milk, sold in 500ml and 1 litre cartons, available from the dairy aisle at Kipa (1.09TL for 500ml), and has a shelf life of 3-4 days.
We've tried it and it tastes almost as good as milk from supermarkets in the UK. Perfect with your cereal. |

Don Juan is 3.5 months old, unsold by a backyard breeder so then dumped. He has rachitism, (similar to rickets) due from undernourishment but with love and care can be fixed. Anyone willing to give him a GOOD home then contact me. |

Yalıkavak Animal Welfare Group Update |

Neutering Update
While Animana veterinary clinic relocate, the Bodrum shelter has been helping with neutering, and have so far neutered 19 cats, and 6 dogs from Yalıkavak. New canine ear tags have also been ordered to help identify neutered animals (much time has been spent neutering animals only to discover they've already been done!).
Spring Cleaning?
Do you have items to donate? The Y-AWG group continues it's fund-raising activities, with regular attendance to the Sunday Bitez 2nd hand sale (Bitez Pazar). We're always looking for donated items to sell in aid of animal welfare, so if you have anything to donate, just get in touch and we can arrange collection;
