Havva Hanim's breakfast garden is in Gökçebel just outside Yalıkavak. Havva grows, cooks and serves her breakfast specials in a delightful shady little garden. Her specials include hand-picked tomatoes, flat breads, stuffed courgette flowers - and look out for her sundried tomato jam. The garden serves breakfast only and is open till 2pm. Reservations are essential as Havva prepares the evening before. She is a very colourful character who supervises proceedings in person and makes time for a joke and a chat. Breakfast is fixed price 17.50TL. |
Havva Hanim has served many of Turkey's famous in this little garden.
Turn right at Yalikavak Migros and head up to the top of the hill, Havva Hanim is located just behind the school (follow the road around the back of the school). Check the EatInBodrum review page for the location on a map.
Open every day for breakfast throughout the summer (Sundays only in winter). Reservations required!
