If you're not yet a Facebook user, as long as you have an email address, the sign-up process is very easy:

1. Visit Facebook and click on "Register"
2. Before you sign up, you can "Take the Tour" or look for friends.
3. Fill in all the details on the registration page (your name, email address and birthday etc...)
4. Check your email, you should have a confirmation email from Facebook. Open this, and you'll see a confirmation link - just click that link to confirm your registration. NOTE: If you don't see it right away, check your spam or junk mail folder.
5. That's it - you can login on the main Facebook Web page
