Part 1, Section 2: Property sizes
Chart 1 shows where the available properties are; it's perhaps no surprise that the majority of properties are in Yalıkavak and Turgutreis - two of the peninsulas ever growing villages, where demand has seen development boom in the past years. Let's now take a look at the property sizes by taking a look at the number of bedrooms.
| 1 Bed | 2 Bed | 3 Bed | 4 Bed | 5 Bed | |
| Total | 459 | 7,090 | 6,158 | 2,385 | 877 |
| Total % | 3% | 42% | 36% | 14% | 5% |
Chart 2. A graphical representation of the percentage of the size of properties available. Below the table shows this in more detail
The majority of properties are either 2 or 3 bedroom properties - these are typically the size houses that most people will be looking for. Let's look at this closer and see whether property size varies by location. First by percentage - i.e. comparing each location to see if some locations have more of a certain size property.

Chart 4. The percentage of properties in each location and the number of bedrooms.
Chart 4 shows that there isn't too much variance in property size per location - i.e. most locations have the same percentages of each property available. It's interesting that Konacık have only 7% of houses being either 4 or 5 bedrooms - this compares to an area such as Türkbükü which has 32% of properties with 4 or 5 bedrooms.

Chart 5. The number of properties in each location and the number of bedrooms.
Chart 5 breaks this down so that we can now clearly see the number of properties available. It's now easier to see where properties of a certain size are available - i.e. if you want the widest choice of 4 bed houses, head for Yalıkavak and not Güvercinlik. If you want a 1 bed, there isn't much to choose from in Bitez or Gündoğan - so try Bodrum Centre ("Merkez").
