Bodrum Bulletin 2011 Photography competition - Winner
We're pleased to announce the winning entry to our June photography competition to win a pair of return flight tickets Monarch.
The winning entry came from Premium Content subscriber Rebecca, who sent a great photo of the Bodrum market. The winning entry follows, together with some excellent runners up below.
Here are our judging panels' comments about the winning photo:
"Given the brief of 'life on the Bodrum peninsula', we felt that this entry did an excellent job of encapsulating this theme. It also captured the incredible variety of local produce available in the local markets (we counted over 30 types of fruit and veg in the photo). Markets are also such a part of what many find so enjoyable about Bodrum; for some they are one of the most memorable parts of their time spent in Bodrum. Other entries put up a serious fight for the prize, and were perhaps technically better, but on balance we felt this deserved the top spot."
