Q79: Overhead Electric and Telephone Cables
Q79: Does anyone know if it is legal for electricity cables and telephone cables to be run overhead across our land to property behind - even if there is a road to the side of us?
NEW: A79.1: If the cables were run overhead of the property after the property was built, then the owner can write a written request to have it removed to the local authorities. Of course it is better to try and sort it out with the people involved first. --Beatrice
