Q107: Disposing of MC car
Q107: Does anyone know the legal procedure for disposing of a Turkish MC registered motor car that is not fit to drive?
NEW: A107 You have to take it to the Customs Office (port most convenient for you!) and pay for them to sign it off! Cost a fair amount but this is the way, I was told, and had to do my old Ford Escort even though it was driveable. It hurts to know that you pay to give it away and then they resell it to their employees or other Turks! --Ros
