Q126: Turkish Capital Gains Tax

Q126: My home in Bodrum is the only house I own (i.e. I do not have a property in the UK, or anywhere else). If I sell the house after 3 years to buy another house in Bodrum, do I have to pay capital gains - and if so, to who, and how much?

A126.1: The limit for capital gains tax in Turkey is 5 years ownership regardless of whether it is your main home or not. --Jane

A126.2: Take a look at this link HERE. --Sunny, Turkey Central Forum
