Q135: NHS Entitlement and Turkish Residency
Q135: If an English person obtains Turkish residency will it efect their Nation Health entitlements when they return to england. Regardless of age or will retired persons be subject to a different rule.
A135: Regarding free National Heath entitlement, this is not affected by Turkish residency: "Nationality or past or present payments of UK taxes and National Insurance contributions are not taken into consideration when establishing residence. The only thing relevant is whether you ordinarily live in the UK.", the simple definition of "ordinarily live", is based on not being outside the UK for more than 3 consecutive months, or a total 6 months in a year.
