ANZAC Biscuits (Turkish Style)
To celebrate ANZAC (Australian New Zealand Army Corps) day on the 25th April, here's a recipe for ANZAC biscuits - Turkish Style! The original recipe uses 1 tablespoon of golden syrup, substituted here with honey.
ANZAC Biscuits
(makes 12-24 biscuits)

Method:
- Mix the oats, flour, coconut and sugar together in a bowl
- Melt the butter and honey together in a pan
- Mix the bicarbonate of soda with the boiling water, and add this to the butter and honey mixture, then add this to the dry ingredients
- For each biscuit, place a tablespoon of the mixture onto a greased oven tray and bake at 150°C-160°C for 20 minutes or until a lovely golden brown.
