One of the most important changes is that billing is now monthly (rather than every 2 months). Aydem are also a lot more aggressive towards late payments of electric bills, and will cut off electricity once a bill is just one month overdue. To prevent this, and for a more efficient way to pay, simply take any electric bill to your Turkish bank and they will set up an automatic monthly payment, and you'll never have to worry about paying a bill again.
